Dark Lip & Soft Bronze Smokey Eye

At the moment the whole bare skinned, simple eyes & taupe brown lipstick shades are back in. The' nineties girl' but with the makeup you want to remember. I have kind of taken a little bit of my inspiration from that but I exaggerated it by 100%. I also finally purchased my first Kylie Jenner Lip Kit in the darkest shade & I wanted to show people that pairing a dark lip with a soft smokey eye can be wearable. I love the whole early 90s grunge music & makeup looks & although I was just born then as I grew up I still had a love for the look.

I am usually fairly pale, yet I am Italian so I still have that olive skin tone. I found that in order to pull off this dark lip I had to really bronze up. I didn't focus on contouring but I did warm up the face & even used a warm blush shade. I will include a full list of products that I used.

Base: Milani 'Conceal + Perfect foundation. YSL 'Touche clat' Laura Geller 'Bronze & Brighten' Charlotte Tilbury 'Filmstar Bronze & Glow.' Laura Geller 'Blush n Brighten' Charlotte Tilbury 'Bar of Gold' highlighter.

Eyes & Brows: Studio 10 'Brow Lift' pencil Rosie HW 'Autograph Black eyeliner' Charlotte Tilbury 'Golden Goddess' eye palette (Light shade on whole lid & inner corner of eye.) Charlotte Tilbury 'Dolce Vita' eye palette using the darker shades. (I used both palettes & mixed the darker shades together on the outer edges & under the eyes. I blended this out till it became soft & smokey.) Benefit 'They're real' Mascara.

Lips: Dr Paw Paw 'original' Kylie Lip Kit in True Brown K (Lip liner & Liquid Lipstick)

Final Thoughts: I loved the 'Hey Honey' facial serum, It gave the perfect amount of hydration that my oily skin needed. No moisturiser was required for me which was so quick & easy! The 'Studio 10' double ended pencil is officially my new favourite brow product as it was so creamy to use & gave me the perfect subtle yet defined brow. Kylie's lip kit formula is beautiful, soft & creamy lip liner & a long lasting liquid lipstick which really is the truest brown I've ever seen. (However it has a sickly sweet scent.) I love both Laura Geller products which are highly pigmented which makes it super quick to bronze up! And well all Charlotte Tilbury products speaks for themselves!
